Wooden Knitting Needle Sets

Should I buy the harmony wood needle set or nickel plated set from KnitPicks?
I want to buy a set of circular needles. I prefer wooden needles, but they cost more and I don't mind nickel. I'm also worried that the wood will splinter.
Which one should I get, fellow knitters? Thanks!

i would go with the wooden ones. i think i am hard on my nickel plated needles but i found that after use they are slightly bent also i noticed that the plating was coming off the tips. i like the wooden ones because the wool just seems to slide off or grip on to the needles just when i need it to do just that!
