About cross stitch and completed cross stitch?
Hi everyone! I have a lot of finished cross stitch products in stock. i want to take photos of them and put the pictures on my website to sell them. There is a question here now. Do people like the completed cross stitch with frame? or they just want to buy the piece of cloth (already stitched)? Could your guys tell me how much does the medium wooden frame cost in the U.S.A? Thank you so much!
If the framing was done well, then you'll find most people would rather purchase the piece already framed - however, that drastically affects the shipping price and insurance you'd want to get on the items, which would be the tipping point for some purchasers.
If the framing was done poorly, or is in not-so-good shape, then you'd want to either get rid of the frame, or offer the option of sending it without the frame (with the savings on the s/h & insurance.)
Just a warning - most cross stitch pieces are not remotely worth in dollars the cost of the labor and supplies it took to make it, not to mention the framing, so be sure to set your prices realistically for the market.
