Knitting Blogs Patterns

how do I download a recipe or knitting pattern off a blog page without having to download the whole blog?
would love to be able to use tried recipes and patterns from blogs but cannot print off only what I want
I have had success in some cases by selecting the text involved, copying it (Ctrl + C or Edit-->Copy), and pasting it into a word processing document (Edit-->Paste or Ctrl + V). If there are graphics/pictures involved, they can also be selected and copied.
In case that doesn't work for a page, you may be able to save the page as a text file (File-->Save Page As; change Save As Type to "text").
Some pages are copyrighted and copy-protected, though. They won't permit any sort of copying or printing.
