Double Point Needles

Can anyone help me with this knitting project using a double point needles?
I have a pattern for a doll poncho and it calls for size 3 dpns of baby weight yarn. The poncho pattern has a 2 inch collar and a sort of V-neck is then combined to form a poncho. After I knit the collar I guess the 1960 stabbing on 4 dpns individual (15 stabbing on each needle). I knit increases on the first and last stitch on each needle, purl and repeat the above steps until I have 92 3X stabbing. Then I have to connect and work around. I'm sure this is not a good project to learn on, but I'm detertermined. How do you knit on dpns no membership ends? I can not find info on how to do. I was wondering if I do not use dpns and use a circular needle when it is time to close the ends? What length should I round to 92 stabbing?
ok your question is a bit picky, if you do not want then you need to invite to work on both circulars or straights. Because knitting with DPN's required in the round. My best advice is that the work of the poncho flat, or try a local knitting class or in groups to find and ask for help there. Find your local groups by searching on yahoo groups or you may be able to form a group Lion Brand Web site or find another site because knitting Most times you'll see they have a small section on the site for knitting groups. Another good site is Measuring Up. But it sounds to me like you need to get in person. Sorry I'm not able to provide more help to you, but I hope you find someone who can help you with this.
