Where should i sell these?
My grandmother recently retired from Dimensions. The stitching company or whatever. She made tests of the kits and they took pictures of them for the front cover of the boxes. She makes them on her own now. According to those she worked with she is one of the best cross stichers in the world. their words not mine. They said there are maybe 5 ppl in the world who can do what she does. that maybe true, maybe not, but all i know is that she is very very good. She makes them on her own now, and she wants to start selling them. The obvious choice is ebay, but i cant see high price items like these selling well on ebay. not for what theyre worth. which is def several thousand dollars. (from what im told). some of them take about 200 hours. soo where should i sell them? or how should i sell them? tips plz!!?
Make her a website. You can make pretty cheap ones on vistaprint.com. Then you can sell a couple on ebay and include a link to your site in your profile and put a business card in the package (also can be made for cheap on vistaprint). You might not get the sell the first few for what they're worth on ebay but you'll drive traffic to your site. Tell friends, family, anyone you can about the site and pass out business cards to them as well.
