Cotton Crochet Thread

crochet thread help[?
I have these crochet balls (brand 'Cannon' and 'Monaco') that I want to use. Problem is, there's no indication if it's fine or worsted weight or what size it is. Here's what it says:
Cannon Crochet
100% Cotton
Ticket 8
175 metres
And that's all!!!
The only thing aside from those is the dyelot no. &shd no.
Can someone point me to a site where there are pictures of the different kinds of crochet thread?Thanks!!oh, and if it helps, the label says my thread is mercerised, whatever that means.
Normally, crochet thread is mostly Size 10, or bedspread, as it is also known.

And yes, Cannon is apparently Size 8 thread, but check your gauge before you start a project.
