The big bad baby blanket for my new neice, coming in August! The pattern calls for Koigu, but 1) I can’t afford THAT much Koigu and 2) hello..this is a baby blanket. We need easy care here. So I went with Plymouth Encore Colorspun, which is an acrylic/wool blend (heavy on the acrylic). It’s washer/dryer friendly. I’m not super thrilled with the stripiness of it. You really can’t see the stitch pattern. But, regardless, it turned out cute I think.
