It’s getting longer

The poncho is coming along. I like the stitch. So far so good. I’m kind of getting bored of it because it is taking longer to go around. This is what happens with me. I get bored of knitting and knitting forever. I like to see the end product. Maybe I’m more of a small project knitter.

I just surfed around on my fave knitting blogs and am inspired to knit…But first housework.

Creamsicle Poncho halfway

I’m inches away from being halfway done with the first rectangle! Wow, I was really being optimistic about getting it done quickly. I may even have to go out and get some more yarn. I hope my yarn store still has some!

Creamsicle Poncho

Here is the first photo of my poncho:

Hopefully it won’t take too long to finish. It is basically two long rectangles weaved together. The pattern says you can use any flat stitch. It has examples of some laces. I tried to knit them with this yarn and it just wasn’t working for me. This yarn is frustrating to work with. It gets stringy very easily. So I decided to go with seed stitch. Its nice and brainless.
