Hello green, yellow, and pink. heavy on the green.
April 2nd, 2007
So here is what I have planned for April (is it really April already ?!?) and May.
First up, Rusted Root in some Bamboo from my stash:
This is the same yarn that I used for the Lotus Blossom Tank way back in June of last year. I frogged that a long time ago because I decided I would never wear it. I never wear the tanks that I have knitted. I don’t know why. And this has little flecks of yellow in it! Two birds with one stone.
Next on my plate, Some socks in Lorna’s Laces using a pattern from Socks Soar on Two Circs”
That’s all that needs to be said about that. Socks. Lorna’s Laces. Life is good.
And if I’m feeling ambitious, I’m gonna get this done:
That’s right. It’s Audrey. I think it’s time I knit this sweater up, already.
Notice that there is no pink at all? um yeah. I don’t have anything pink in my stash. I don’t know if I will knit anything pink at all these two months. If some ball of yarn somewhere jumps out at me on my outings, then maybe I will add that to my list.

The bamboo will be beautiful as Rusted Root. I think variegated yarns look best in simpler stitch patterns. And Audrey? Oooh. Pretty.

Love the bamboo! I have seen a couple Rusted Roots all knit up, and they are beautiful. Can’t wait to see yours.
