Slithering
January 6th, 2007
I FINALLY finished knitting my hubby’s House of Slytherin Scarf! Stoked! Let’s see when did I start it? I think it was Fall of 2005. I remember the day I thought of the idea. Raf and I were on a hike at Riverside State Park. It was a day like this day. It may have even been that day. (nope. it wasn’t. It was in november.)I remember there was a chill in the air. So I asked Raf if he wanted me to knit him a Hogwart’s scarf. And he said, “yes.” And I asked, “what house do you want?” And he said, (rebel that he is) “Slytherin” with an evil chuckle. So I started it that very weekend. And an only just now finishing it. Better late than never.
I will post an official FO shot when it’s been blocked.
Have a great weekend!

I have a problem finishing scarves too. I get about halfway and I always find something more interesting to knit.

awesome, Moni! The mister wants a Slytherin scarf too, so you’ve inspired me to get started (and finished
)

Hi, I have just moseyed on over from admiring from Craftywench (Nancy), I’m a librarian of sorts too (NHS in Scotland but now in a office rather than library, but librarian is like being marked for life…). That slytherin scarf is very classy - love it and your mums Christmas present is out of this world - gorgeous. As for the library talk - just imagine I’m in the room with you and I love hearing library talk stuff, also imagine one of your recipients may be a librarian of tomorrow - y’just never know. Good luck!

The scarf looks great. I’m sure that your DH will gets lots of use out of it.
