That’s waaay better.

I just want to say a big THANK YOU to Jenny from High Energy Knits for figuring out the gigantic mistake in the Loll pattern and putting it up on her website. I knitted up the left front with the new and improved waist shaping and decided that I couldn’t leave the right side looking the way it was. So I frogged down to the end of the fringe (thank god I don’t have to reknit that friggen fringe) and reknit the waist shaping. I’m going to do that with the back, too. I want this to turn out just right. The ribbing actually goes pretty quickly, at least when you compare it with the fringe.
I’m really enjoying this pattern so far, though. It’s really fun to knit up!
Here is that Blue Sky Alpaca Cotton sweater that I am knitting up in the round. So far so good! I love this stitch pattern! And the yarn is soooo soft and nice.
And
For socktoberfest I have some socks that I need to knit the mates to so I will do that, but I also think I will knit up the Rib and Cable pattern for IK fall 2005, thus, killing two birds with one stone (that’s really a horrible saying, isn’t it?). I am also really into vests lately and want to knit one. So I am thinking along the lines of Boogie or Veste Evereste (from the same issue of IK). We’ll see if I will get around to that. I really, really want to start getting on top of my gift knitting.

mmm…cables. I’m smack dab in the middle of cables and I LOVE IT! So ready for cooler temps.
I love my veste everest…I’d make it longer though. I tend to have to stop myself from yanking it down.
It’s absolutely fantastic though.
I can’t wait to see what you choose!

I am in both of the KALs too (well, you knew about Socktoberfest…) I am quite excited for both. I was hoping to work some cabled socks into Socktoberfest…
I am happy to hear that Jenny did the corrections for the cardi. I think yours is so pretty. Can’t wait to see more, Miss Moni

I just love that dangly fringe on this design. I’d knit Loll just because of it, as a matter of fact. Very nice.

Ahh. Fall. I love fall. Your Loll is looking good. I’m always very appreciative when someone other than me figures out the mistake in a pattern, although I prefer it if they do it before I’ve knit the garment.
