Getting there
So I’m almost done with the back of Loll. That fringe on the bottom, while really challenging and kind of fun, took FOREVER. Oh my God. But I’m not complaining..oh no.
Loving the Calmer. Loving the softness. The stretchiness of it is a little weird, but oh well.
The pattern so far I’m not so sure about. Those damn Brits and their directions 
. I was just a little bit confused by a couple of things. the first thing was the amount of stitches between each fringe. When you knit the wrong side right after you do the fringe row you are supposed to purl the stitch with the fringe, and then the directions tell you to knit 3. That didn’t make sense to me at all because I had two stitches inbetween each fringe when all was said and done. So I just did want seemed right to me and purled 1 k2.
Another thing that was weird were the increases and decreases. The directions didn’t make sense to me, so I kind of did my own thing with that, too. Or maybe I did what the directions told me to do. I don’t know. It was just a bit confusing. But it all seems to be working out, so there.
So, as you know, we are all moved into my new house. I posted some pics over on the other blog, of you want to see them. But the one thing I left out of that post was my “Yarn Closet”:
I originally opened the closet to day to get a “flash your blue stash” Project Spectrum shot. But I looked in there and thought, “no.” That will have to be for another day. I don’t have the energy.
