Dude. Want to whip up a quick mother’s day present? Right here, baby. I loves me a quick knit. It took me about an hour to knit this and another half an hour to felt it. It took longer for the thing to dry than it did for me to work on it. Stoked!
I loved this yarn. This is a beautiful yarn. Truly gorgeous. I will definately be visiting this yarn again. It’s perfect for felting.
I was trying to find some buttons to sew on it, as the pattern calls for. Didn’t find any that I liked. So I decided to use this pin that I bought a few months ago to wear with Blackberry. I suppose this pin was really meant for my Mother-in-law because it goes perfectly with this clutch and she will love the pin just by itself, too.
So today is May 1st and, thus, marks the start of a new Project Spectrumproject. Since this month is green I will be working on my husband’s Slytherin House scarf. But not before I finish Butterfly. I’m soo close I can taste it. I have finished both sleeves and am now working on the Collar. The endless collar. Hopefully I will be done with her in a few days.
If I get bored knitting the Slytherin Scarf I have some plans for this:

Lorna’s laces in the colorway, “forest.”
Thanks again for all of the positive vibes regarding the house hunting. We are still in limbo, but all should be firmed up by next week. Then I can exhale.
