I got home from work and look what was waiting for me:
Wow! I really, really like the color! I thought it would be more turquoisy then it is. It really does look like the color of a swimming pool. Pretty! I can’t believe how fast it got here. And there were little candies in with my order, too
. I definately will order from Jimmy Beans Wool again. Yes, using candy to woo people to your business does work. I should have ordered the Rowan magazine from them, too. Because now I have to wait for *that* before I can begin.
And, as promised, here is a pic of tank girl folded:
See how fricken thick this thing is?!? And it’s heavy too. I still need to weave up the other side. I will probably do that after I log off.
Oh, I better go make fun of, I mean, watch, Bush’s speech at the RNC

I’ve been spending the past couple of days weaving. I’ve only gotten one side done (!). What a tedious job this is! I’ve beeen slightly sidetracked the past couple of days, looking for some good anti-bush music to get me psyched up for the election. I will post my playlist here, since I’m on the “Knitters for Kerry” webring, and speaking of music, read about my new anthem over on Blatherskite.
. That song is definately going on the playlist.
As far as Tank Girl goes, like I said, I weaved up one side, and tried it on. It fits. It looks a little bit hippy dippy, though. The yarn is hella thick. I will post a picture of what this tank looks like folded up. It’s, like, a foot thick, I swear!
It’s a bummer because I’m always a little bit dissappointed in my projects when I’m done. Especially before blocking (My tank is a lumpy mess right now). I just want my things to turn out perfectly.
