I’ve been feeling very blah lately. You know how you sometimes just lose steam? Thats’ how I’ve been feeling. so I haven’t been all into blogging lately. But I thought I should post something about what I’ve been up to in the knitting department. I decided to put my blue cardi aside for a bit and work on something different. I bought this gorgeous orange, pink, and white verigated yarn (reminds me of a creamsicle). It has some shimmer to it, as well. I started to knit up a scarf based on this shawl pattern at Knitty. I just couldn’t get the damn thing right! (I love the bead thing that this shawl has going on). I unraveled my scarf about twenty times before I finally gave up. So then I decided to knit a poncho pattern found on the knitty blog instead, using the same yarn. Well, I really wanted to get it done fast so I actually whipped it out over the weekend (My knuckles are killing me!). Now that it’s done I decided (and this is what makes knitting kind of frustrating) that I don’t like it. All of that time I spent knitting it, all of the money I spent on the yarn, and I don’t like the damn thing. So I guess I will unravel it and do something else with my creamsicle shimmery yarn.
