Here’s my progress on my creamsicle colored poncho. Only 30″ to go! For the first rectangle. ugh. I guess I won’t have it done for my trip home to Spokane in a week. I had to put it on my circular needles because it kept falling off my straight needles. And notice how I alread screwed up the stitch? I didn’t perl the knits and knit the perls. It ended up ribbed for a couple of rows. Oh well. Thank God I didn’t try some fancy lace pattern.

Here it is:

It’s finally done. I am going to have a picture taken of it on me later day when I wake up.

Here is the first photo of my poncho:
Hopefully it won’t take too long to finish. It is basically two long rectangles weaved together. The pattern says you can use any flat stitch. It has examples of some laces. I tried to knit them with this yarn and it just wasn’t working for me. This yarn is frustrating to work with. It gets stringy very easily. So I decided to go with seed stitch. Its nice and brainless.

Well, I started a new project. I frogged the creamsicle poncho that I knitted a couple of weeks ago and am using it to knit a new poncho based on this pattern. I really like this pattern and it’s cool because it is customizable. You can use any yarn and any flat stitch. So we’ll see how it turns out. Hopefully I will have it done before I go to Spokane.
Ponchos must be in. I saw so many pretty ponchos in the airport when I went to Nashville last week. They were all airy and light. Very pretty.
As for my cardigan, it’s STILL drying! I hope it’s dry when I get home from work tonight. I will take a pic of it on when I can.
