fancy scarf

fancy-scarf.jpg Okay, so here is a fancy scarf that I finished last week. I used this yarn that I bought at a craft expo that I went to in San Mateo, CA. I believe I bought it at the Fengari booth. The yarn is a ribbon yarn made by Berroco, called Mosiac FX. I found it at the Yarn Store for under five bucks. I bought it at the craft expo for twelve. oh well. I used one skien and knitted it in garter stitch until I was out of yarn. For the tassles, before I even began knitting, I wound the yarn around a piece of cardboard that was 5in wide 48 times. I cut the yarn at one end. I had 48 strings of yarn that were 10 in long. When I was done knitting I attached the tassles with a crochet hook. I have not idea how to crochet so I can’t explain how I did this, but I somehow figured it out. Here is another shot of the tassle of the scarf:
